Meat Slicer finds its application for slicing meat for jerky or slicing bulk meats and cheeses to the perfect thickness. They are generally small enough to be portable and easy to store.
I think you probably intended this for a different section than Vegetarian & Vegan.
However, having worked in a delicatessen slicing both meat and cheese, a word of advice: don’t get one machine for both meat and cheese. A good meat slicer will wreak havoc on your cheese and a good cheese slicer is useless for meat. And make sure you know how to use them; even people who work with these machines on a daily basis have to deal with the very real risk of slicing off neat little bloody slices of fingertips.
I’ll tell you about them!
A commercial model is usually all stainless and is washable in a dishwasher.
They will slice cheese, cooked meat and fingers! They are called slicers, not just meat slicers, you can slice anything on them.
A lot of places make you wear chain mesh gloves so you dont cut youself.
If yaw gunner be doinag a lot of slicing, buy 1 with an automatic slider, saves alot of pushing.
You can buy smaller hand operated models, but think they were bread slicers.
Prob is I don’t think they make them on a domestic scale, most folk just use a knife!
