Do food processors chop and blend at the same time?

I want to buy a food processor but i need to know if it is going to blend too.

    Yes. You can use a food processor to make most anything you use a blender for.

    Yes and no.

    Food processors are designed to cut, chop, and grind. To do this without overheating the ingredients they work at a slow speed, compared to a blender.

    They will, if you have patience, do everything a blender does.

    Of the two, I would certainly opt for a food processor first, because it’s a much more versatile tool. But eventually you really should have both.
